by Yong Peng (ypong001(a)yahoo.com) [AUS:IP logged]

This retreat is a special time to come together in reunion and community to explore in silence and dialogue the unfolding of our lives in the practice environment of awareness and love. This practice reaffirms the possibility of our awakening, helps to create the conditions for this awakening, and grounds us in the knowledge that we are not alone in this endeavor.

When: Friday, January 16 to Wednesday, January 21, 2009
Where: The Olympic Park Institute (west of Port Angeles, Washington, 3 hours from Seattle)
Cost: $300 (double occupancy), covers food and lodging only

Arinna Weisman, the retreat leader, has studied Insight Meditation for 30 years. She teaches in the lineage of the Great Burmese teacher U BhaKhin and was empowered to teach by Ruth Denison. Arinna is the founding teacher of Insight Meditation Center of Pioneer Valley in Easthampton, MA, and co-author of A Beginner’s Guide to Insight Meditation. She has been teaching for twenty years.
