Easy and The World Free Univarsity
updated

The World Free Univarsity is a great opportunity to produce a
tremendous amount of valuable online learning resources with a
minimal investment.
The World Free Univarsity, my free software "Input Easy"
and my invention of the mini-reference file (merf) create a simple
toolkit for people wishing to create learning materials, share their
work, and find learning materials.
To be effective, both the World Free Univarsity and the software must
remain "free". I am looking for funding to support this
initiative from public, grant or donation sources. Learners,
teachers, tutors, governments and not-for-profit organizations around
the world would benefit.
If I could have found a software product with the effectiveness of
Input Easy, I wouldn't have bothered to invest the time needed to
design and write the software. The theory, method and software were
actually developed using iterative design over more than a decade.
The theory, method, software, copyright information and online web
space provide a complete set of useful resources.
The entire framework for this project is ready. This includes
resolving matters of copyright, web page design for a global
community, Internet privacy, communication (email "contact
me" policy pages), inter-system operability issues and the
invention of the mighty merf (mini-reference files). All of this
information is available on my web pages.
This model could be used for every language community in the world
(French, Spanish, Chinese, etc.). It is very simple and easy to implement.
A small team (programmers, web masters, public relations, and
manager) with adequate funding would be all that are needed to
provide the entire world with a valuable software product and a place
to share learning materials.
Scenario One
A student creates a learning file for their own use. They will be
able to learn faster, and later review the material (for instance,
after a summer break). They then share that file with their
classmates, teacher and other people on the Internet.
Scenario Two
During a course, a teacher assigns students the responsibility of
coming up with "key questions" as homework. The best of
these questions are entered into a learning file.
At the end of the course, the teacher has a complete learning file
that they can give future students taking the course. The teacher
posts the file on the Internet at the World Free Univarsity. This
helps all students and all teachers around the world to learn the
material more effectively.
Scenario Three
A not-for-profit organization makes a learning file about the cause
they are supporting. They distribute this to members and post it on
the Internet. Everyone benefits.
Conclusion
You can imagine how fast learning materials would be created if all
three of these scenarios were happening at the same time.
